WELL HEAD MAINTENANCE ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE

JEG’s wellhead maintenance services form a key part of our well integrity capability. This
includes the routine inspection, repair and maintenance of surface wellheads, as well as the
provision of pressure testing services.
Regular inspection and maintenance will ensure that a wellhead continues to operate in a safe
and efficient manner well past its original field life

SLICKLINE
JEG’s Slickline services include the control of sliding sleeves to open and close access to zones
and the replacement of gas lift valves. Additionally they can measure the depth of the well and
well perforation (using run gun assemblies) and down-hole pressures and temperatures (using
run gauges). Our slickline units are tried and tested.
Slickline operations involve maintenance, such as the removal of wax, scale, sand and fill build-
ups, terminating flow and setting hydraulic packers using sealing plugs, gauge cutting, setting
or removing plugs, deploying or removing wireline, retrievable valves and memory logging of
down-hole logs using Memory Production Logging Tools (MPLT) and down-hole vision (using
run cameras).

FISHING

When a stray equipment falls into a well, it is referred to as fish or junk, and regular drill bits
cannot drill through it. Should a fish fall into a well, fishing is required to remove it.
In order to perform fishing on a well, drilling must be shelved and special fishing tools
employed. Each tool is specially crafted to perform a specific function, or retrieve a certain type
of fish. Most fishing tools are screwed into the end of a fishing string, similar to drillpipe, and
lowered into the well. You can rely on JEG ENERGY SERVICES to carry out that Fishing Service
for you.

BHP SURVEY
We provide an efficient way to process the pressure and temperature survey data and
numerous downhole surveys that are created daily by wireline service companies and these
surveys are done in a quick, efficient, and effortless manner.
BHP Survey Tool is designed to create useful survey data for gas-lift surveillance. It is a utility
program that can be used in conjunction with the WinGLUE application (Gas Lift Users
Environment) and can easily be extended to support other programs.
