Slide 1: Good morning everyone.

Today my group plan to say a few words about

Technologyical environment

Slide 2: our presentation includes three parts. Start with Opportunities next
Challenges finally Impact of science and technology in Vietnam go to Vinamilk company

And And now Ngọc Thùy will give some example about technological
environment go to some company in Vietnam

Slide 3: Here are some pictures of Truong Hai company and Mazda Motor
Corporation

- Mazda Motor Corporation (Japan) transfers their automobile manufacturing

technology to Truong Hai Company in order to expand their market in Vietnam

- With the technology transfer and technical support from Mazda, Truong Hai
Company is permitted to manufacture and assemble finalized automobiles using Mazda’s
technology, which will then be sold to consumers, with the better quality

- Mazda Motor Corporation, through the result of technology transfer to the Trường
Hải Company , the technology supplier will gain experience to have better and superior
technologies than the previous technology; Mazda have the opportunity to earn regular
incomes, directly or indirectly from maintenance, replacement of spare parts, etc.,
promoting them to participate in technology transfer activities; capture the consumer
market through technology transfer activities to expand the market for technology products

- Also opens up a new commercial possibility for the receiver; the cooperation with
the supplier will solve the problems that arise, exchange and improve market initiatives and
development trends as well as the experience of the supplier to serve their interests.

- Those are the examples that show us the opportunities of the technological
environment. And now let's find out what opportunities the technology environment offers

Slide 4: The technological environment has created opportunities including:

+ The first: Having favorable access to new technology facilitates cheaper production
of products with higher quality, makes products more competitive, can create new markets
for products and organization’s services

+ The seconde: The introduction of new technology and the ability to transfer new
technology into other industries can create very important opportunities for production
development and product improvement in other industries.

+ The next: Facilitates faster access to information

+ The finally: The development of new technology helps businesses easily research to
create new products to serve the increasingly diverse needs of consumers.

And here's another element of the technology environment

Slide 5:

*The pressures and threats from the technological environment for organizations can
include the following factors:

- The first: Appear and strengthen the competitive advantage of products replace,
threaten the traditional products of the existing industry.

- The seconde: Existing technology is outdated and creates pressure on organizations

to innovate technology to enhance competitiveness.

- Next: Create favorable conditions for intruders new and add to the pressures that
threaten existing organizations in the industry.

- Finally: Technology life cycles tend to shorten, which adds to the pressure to
shorten the amortization period compared to before.

Slide 6:

Ảnh 1: Example: Surely no one is a stranger to nokia phones

- At its peak, in 2007, Nokia's worldwide market share was 50%, the highest in the
world, no other company could achieve such heights of success. However, then the
collapse started from the top management, dragging everything down. The new
management has focused more on traditional phones than testing new technology, not
applying new technology to production. Nokia refused to see Apple as a threat to their
company, because they saw Apple's inability to compete, and in the years that followed,
giants in the high-tech industry such as Apple, Samsung, Huawei, etc. developed. strong
and gradually occupy the market with breakthrough products in technology. Currently
Nokia still exists but nothing outstanding and technology gradually degraded compared
to their rivals.

Ảnh 2: In addition, the toshiba corporation is also an example

Toshiba is known for having a series of "first products" made in Japan such as
Radars, TAC digital computers, semiconductor televisions and microwave ovens, color
screen phones, laptops, etc. ... however, everything fell apart because of the inherent
pride and conservatism of the Japanese, maintaining that development path even when it
became obsolete. They still refuse to change the production process and update advanced
technology, while major competitors from Korea and China such as Samsung and LG
gradually update their technology and they have created TVs and monitors. with high
quality. high technology and gradually dominate the TV and monitor market of Toshiba.

Slide 7: I’d now like to change direction and talk about Impact of science and
