Project Overview

The SOW under the CONTRACT encompasses the Onshore LNG Plant Pre-FEED Safety Studies.
The Abadi Field is to be developed in a single phase.
The FPSO will be located in the Masela PSC Block in the Arafura Sea in Maluku Province. The Masela Block is
located approximately 800 km east of Kupang, West Timor, Indonesia and approximately 400 km North of Darwin,
Northern Territory, Austral ia. Water depth in the field ranges from 400m to 800 m. The southern boundary of the
block is adjacent to the agreed Indonesia-Australia maritime border as shown in Figure 3-2.

The Onshore LNG Plant Pre-FEED Studies shall be carried out based on the two (2) potential plant locations. All
site locations are Greenfield and remote areas and processing and utilities requirements will be similar. However
there will be significant difference in the pre-construction facilities, logistics and marine facilities due to their location
differences.
COMPANY has several site data that will be made available to CONTRACTOR. In addition, COMPANY will carry
out several site surveys of a geotechnical, topographical and bathymetry investigation to supplement existing
historical information. If those surveys are still ongoing during Pre-FEED process and provided that the resources
are still on sites, particular for geotechnical survey, CONTRACTOR may have the opportunity to request join survey
and evaluation to ensure that comprehensive additional data collection as requested by CONTRACTOR is acquired,
which will enable CONTRACTOR to prepare the facilities design and to ensure that the survey deliverables fulfil the
CONTRACT requirements. As a consequence, CONTRACTOR shall review all existing and future obtaining survey
data during Pre-FEED and reflect the difference in the proposed Pre-FEED design.
The Onshore LNG Plant will compose 2 trains' base gas processing facilities which will export dry gas to Onshore
LNG Plant through export pipeline. The through put shall be determined considering the integrated availability based
on 9.5MTPA for LNG production and 150MMscfd as yearly average for pipe gas to petrochemical facility which will
be designed, constructed and operated by Indonesian companies to be determined by Gol. Therefore the total
FPSO plant capacity can be considered as 10.5MTPA equivalent. The Onshore LNG plant capacity will be 9.5MTPA
with 2 train configuration.

Project Development
COMPANY (Inpex Masela) intend to develop the Masela Field with FPSO Facility.
As part of FPSO design, SUBCONTRACTOR shall study the potential towing routes of the FPSO with development
of cyclonic and non- cyclonic metocean conditions for towing routes based on numerical analysis. (Hindcast
analysis is preferred rather than Cooper's parametric model for wave prediction).

Deliverable (3rd Party Study): FPSO Towing Route Study incl. Towing Route Metocean Assessment

Meteocean data along towing routes to be specifically developed for Abadi project:
 towing route study
 towing route information with longitude and latitude data
 meteocean analysis method
 source data of meteocean analysis
 monthly wind statistical data including 3 sec gust / 1 minute mean, 10 minutes mean, 1 hour mean values
 monthly wave statistical data including significant wave height, spectral peak period, wave spectrum type,
wave spectrum parameters, maximum single wave height.

Two (2) tow routes are considered, with departure at any time of the year:
 FPSO Hull from shipyard in South Korea to Batam Indonesia integration yard.
 FPSO with Topside tow from Batam integration yard to Abadi Site.
