SERVICE

Seals required for pipe and valve flanges.

PROBLEM
Gaskets in use (Blue Gylon Cut Rings) allowed ingress of bacteria
through capillary action after system was sterilized with steam due to
insulation of faces.

SOLUTION
Installed 3" Steel Trap Gasket Self Locator with PTFE and applied
appropriate recommended torque.

PERFORMANCE
Steam sterilization of the system allowed the outer edges of S.T.G. to
get hot, thereby killing any bacteria on the outer edges.

RESULTS -
Still in service after almost one and a half years.
