Sales people are pressurised with targets. Most organisations hire trainees and
irrespective of their domain they are provided with sales target. The young
mind gets depressed because of this and tends to burn out. The bosses always
pressurises their juniors and makes them feel inferior. This causes depression
amongst employees who end up committing suicide in many cases.
2. Give sales target but not pressurise them completely : The sales people
should be given specific targets which they have to achieve but, they should
also not be pressurised in case they don’t achieve the target. They should be
helped and guided by the mentor.
3. Rewards : The trainees who perform good should be rewarded for their
work. This will help the other trainees to get motivated and achieve their
target as well as the trainee who got rewarded will be willing to work with
more enthusiasm.
4. Provide counselling if required : If even after all this it is noticed that a
trainee is in depression for not achieving the target, then proper counselling is
to be provided to that employee. He should be given some days off and take
some rest and come back to office with the willingness to achieve targets with
a positive mind set.
