Mark is a member of Confluent’s Global Training team and is passionate about learning and sharing
what he has learned with others, so has made this his career for over 20 years. Prior to joining
Confluent Mark spent 5 years with Amazon Web Services, and just prior to that he was with Cloudera
for a couple of years. He also spent 6 years in the virtualization space, nearly all of that time with
VMware. Mark started his career as a software developer for a bank in Southern California, but now
makes his home in Seattle.
