Direction: In this section, you learned that necessity is the mother of inventions and
innovations. Inventions are not simply made, but are motivated by various social, political,
cultural and economic contexts. In this activity, you will address this question: “if you were an
inventor, what would you invent?” In thinking about an invention, make sure that you come up
with one that has not yet invented yet but is possible to be invented in the near future. On the
space below, sketch a draft to be invented then answer the questions that follow.

1. What is your invention? What does it do?

- my invention would be smart jacket a jacket that has a built in heater that you can use specially in
winter season gives warmth in your body and it is comfortable,light weight and cozy it.

2. How is your invention similar to or different from existing tools or technologies in terms of functions?

- the difference between this smart jacket and the other brand of jackets that is it you can adjust the
level of warm.

3. Why is there a need for this invention? How will this invention make the world a better place to live
in?

- well it I think it is necessary specially in the cold countries like north and south pole it will help their
body to keep warm.
