In negotiations with a sportswear retailer and with a new supplier about the supply of

running equipment. This is a meeting where we hope to finalize the agreement, develop an

plan and complete the negotiations. Mrs. Gross is a supplier, Mr. Hog is a sportswear retailer

Min : Hello, nice to meet you personally, let's clarify all the details of our agreement.

Ilona: Hello, as you already know, we would like to supply of running equipment. We have

previously discussed all the cases on the phone, do you have any questions?

Min: Unfortunately, yes, I have a couple of questions, firstly, I looked at the reviews of your

company, and they are extremely unsatisfactory. We also had a bad experience with previous

suppliers.  I'm concerned about the delays we're experiencing with some of our suppliers.

Ilona: But we're doing everything to get back on schedule.

Min: Could you give me an approximate timeline?

Ilona: A number of deliveries are arriving tomorrow. Unfortunately, this time of year is often

troublesome.

Min: That's not good. We can't make excuses to our clients. Are all shipments affected?

Ilona: No, but it is summer and some companies are cutting back until September.

Min: How does that affect deliveries?

Ilona: Well, there are weather delays and shipment delays due to reduced production.

Sometimes, larger packages are delayed because of a bottleneck at the distribution point.

Min: Is there any way around these delays?

Ilona: Well, we often work with delivery services such as UPS, Fed ex or DHL for our most

urgent shipping. They guarantee door-to-door deliveries within 48 hours.

Min: Are they expensive?

Ilona: No, they aren’t very expensive.

Min: Also we need to change the quality to pure cotton because mix of fibers is not going to

sell well.

Ilona: OK, I accept your condition

Min: Well, I want to cooperate with you,
