Unaysah is a hardworking and diligent student who has undertaken a rigorous set of classes. It
has been a privilege to watch Unaysah mature socially while remaining the diligent student that I
got to meet on my first year at Wycombe. Unaysah continued to our Sixth Form College during
the first lockdown. She has put in consistent effort to make sure that she can work through the
difficult topics in each of her courses. As long as I have known her, she has told me about
articles she has read or videos she has watched that past week about the eye. I have never
known a student to be more passionate about a specific subject. Besides engaging with her
course content, Unaysah displays a keen creative passion in her art and music extracurriculars.
She also frequently volunteers at the British Heart Foundation, assisting them with a variety of
tasks as they serve her local community.

In Mathematics, Unaysah has demonstrated she can work hard and persevere, and has sought
support when she has needed it. She has shown that she is able to recall facts, terminology and
definitions and work through the basic mathematical techniques quite accurately. She can apply
these techniques to routine questions and is becoming more confident with multi-step problems.
She can clearly communicate her ideas using appropriate mathematical language and notation.
Unaysah is beginning to make links between different areas of Mathematics, which is beneficial
to her understanding.
Unaysah is a strong independent worker, which makes her a desirable candidate for university
study. This year in Psychology, Unaysah has been working on producing concise outlines of key
psychological studies. She possesses a large glossary of key subject terminology which she
embeds to enhance the clarity of her answers. She has been able to apply theories and studies
to explain complex human behaviours, often including examples from real life. Her
methodological evaluation of key studies is sound, often taking a holistic approach to her long
answer questions. Moreover, she can justify why certain experimental designs are more
appropriate than others when designing her own experiments.
Unaysah is a mature physics student who consistently engages well with the course. Unaysah
has done an excellent job revising and reflecting on her growth throughout the course. She has
a strong grasp of the fundamentals and frequently does an excellent job during practical
lessons. She works well with her neighbours and is always encouraging them to do their best.
Unaysah does an excellent job engaging with Physics beyond the course. She is frequently
reading astronomy books or taking the time to go outside and use a telescope. I would happily
recommend Unaysah for any course she chooses to pursue.
Because of Unaysah’s commitment to this degree, I have no doubt that she will be able to
succeed in pursuing it. It is rare that I meet a student who is this confident in what path they
want to take, and who has put as much effort as she has into making her plans a reality. I
strongly recommend her for this program, and I hope that you will give her application due
consideration.
