COVID-19 and its Effects in the Education System

All of us was alarmed after knowing the extreme effect of novel corona virus
disease that started and originated in Wuhan China that was discovered last December 2019. A
disease that spread all over the world and cause gigantic impact on the global community.
Particularly the lifestyle, livelihood, health, economies, behaviors specially on education that
was greatly affected by this pandemic, the unseen deadly virus disease called COVID-19.

How does COVID-19 affect educational system?

According to UNESCO reports, more than 1.5 billion students in about 165 countries
including Philippines have been affected by the lockdown of schools and campuses. As a result,
schools, colleges and universities were forced to shift in some way or another to online learning
as a replacement for on-site delivery. When the infected cases of pandemic are arising to avoid
the outgrow of the lethal virus disease.
