wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to

I. Purpose of Music Ministry

 We exist to edify to the church by communicating biblical truths through
excellent and spirit-filled music.
 We exist to exalt God through meaningful, biblical, and sound music as an
expression of our worship.

II. Commitment of Music Ministry Members

 Commitment to the Christ and His church.
 Commitment to the Word of God.
 Commitment to Love the Fellowship
 Commitment to Personal Sanctification.
 Commitment to Excellence.

III. Song Selection Guidelines

1. Is the message of the song consistent with biblical truths?
2. Is the song lyrics substantial and non-repetitive?
3. Is the song God-glorifying and believer-edifying?

IV. Rehearsals
 10 minutes of prayer and devotion.
 5 minutes of technical and sound checks.
 40 minutes rehearsal.
 20 minutes review.

V. Pre-Service
 10 minute-sound check.
 5-minute prayer time.

VI. Equipment Care

 “Your Instrument, your responsibility”
 Prepare and arrange your instruments before and after use.
