WORK INSTRUCTION FOR BIN MANAGEMENT (FROM CUSTOMER)

1) When received the empty bin from customer, Points to be followed at


the bin storage area.
a) Conduct the visual inspection no part should be in the bin.
b) Check the either side / below the bin if any part stuck below the
bin.
c) Bin should be free from defect.
d) Count the number of bin received during incoming.
e) Remove the tag and identification for the received bin.
f) Bin should be free from mix up.
i) Other Company bin should not be received during inward.

2) When received the empty bin from customer place at the bin storage
area.
a) Conduct the visual inspection
b) Check the either side of bin / below the bin if any part stuck
below the bin.
c) Bin should be free from defect, Like broken, damaged.

3) BIN Stock update.


a) Update the stock received bin in the Inward & outward register
b) Stock of the bin will be taken once a month.

The organization shall have a documented supplier selection process. The selection process
shall include:
a) An assessment of the selected supplier’s risk to product conformity and uninterrupted supply
of the organization’s product to their customers;
b) Relevant quality and delivery performance;
c) An evaluation of the supplier’s quality management system;
d) Multidisciplinary decision making; and
e) An assessment of software development capabilities, if applicable. Other supplier selection
criteria that should be considered include the following:
− Volume of automotive business (absolute and as a percentage of total business);
− Financial stability;
− Purchased product, material, or service complexity;
− Required technology (product or process);
− Adequacy of available resources (e.g., people, infrastructure);
− Design and development capabilities (including project management);
− Manufacturing capability;
− Change management process;
− Business continuity planning (e.g., disaster preparedness, contingency planning);
− Logistics process;
− Customer service.
