1.Weapons for war

Clubs, spears, and machetes were the only weapons used in hunting and warfare in primitive
society. All of these weapons are the result of science and technology, including Dane guns, double
barrel guns, machine guns, grenades, bombs, and even nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons.

2. Technological Unemployment

Technological unemployment occurs as a result of mechanization brought about by science and

technology. This happens when the work that should have been done by people is done by
machines.

3. Accidents and deaths

Few mishaps occurred when man's mode of transportation was trekking and the usage of animals.
However, as technology has advanced, resulting in the construction and use of aircraft, trains, ships,
speed boats, cars, and motorcycles, incidences of mortality and accident have increased
dramatically, including plane crashes, shipwrecks, and car and motorcycle accidents.

4. Crimes

Crimes have been on the increase since science and technology have made it possible for the
production of devices and gadgets such as powerful guns, explosives, and other dangerous weapons.
The use of computers and internet and other communication technology have greatly assisted
fraudsters to steal and dupe their victim easily.

5. Environmental degradation

Environmental degradation has become both national and international concern. The achievements
of science and technology have led to serious pollution and degradation of the human environment.
Industries, factories and locomotive wastes and smokes pollute the air leading to acid rains, global
warming and depletion of the ozone layer.

As a student I will try my best in changing these negative effects to positive ones by not using things
that can pollute the earth. I will also try to create a organization that will make tge wrongs of STS
right. These things can help us but ask yourself is it worth it? Or we just don’t work hard anymore we
just make these machines work for us.

I will spread information to the community by using these five.

Social media

Admit it social media is the best way to persuade people and make them believe in things. With
social media I will create different posters and different campaigns that will help our community.

Advertisements

By using advertisements, I can spread information anywhere and anytime. I can give people without
social media the information that needs to be heard. With the help of advertisements I can give
people hope.

News papers
I don’t know if people are still reading news papers but I believe that there still. With news papers I
can reach not just the old but also the young people who are reading it. At the same time we can
recycle those news papers to help the environment.

Programs

I can reach everyone by establishing programs that will help us in changing the wrongs of STS to
rights. We can create a healthy and safe environment for us to live in. We can plant trees and clean
the oceans etc.

Organizations

I can help by creating organizations that will be helping in the improvement of our well being. I will
try to give everyone their needs and help them by giving them a safe place to live.
