Instructions
• Your assignment should be submitted as a MS Word document.
• The answer should be in proper English. Be careful of grammar. Avoid the use of
ungrammatical expressions within your answer.
• There is a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism. Assignments found with copy pasted
material or copied from fellows will not be accepted.
• Submit your assignment on your CU Online LMS portal within the given time frame.
Emailed assignments will not be entertained.
• Open google.com
• Search for an appropriate job using appropriate/relevant keywords and pick the one
that comes under your skills/expertise.
• Provide a screenshot of the job description that you have found on the search engine.
This should be followed by the actual cover letter.
• Identify the most appropriate effective selling points that you may use in your cover
letter to apply for the selected job
• Write a cover letter to your potential employer (Manager HR) stating the place
where you found the advertisement.
• State the purpose of writing showing your interest to join the organization
• Introduce yourself and talk about your skills and area of expertise
• (If any) give reference of your past experience of working with other clients.
• Conclude your letter alongside your contact details to indicate that you look forward
to have an interview session with the hiring committee.
