Why Me

Hi my name is Jeremy Bingesser, and I am a senior at Pierz Healy Highschool in Pierz

Minnesota. I plan to attend Wichita State University to continue my academic career along with

my baseball career. I intend to major in business management while at Wichita State University.

My goals throughout college and my career are to play professional baseball. If I am not able to

succeed at this goal then my backup plan is to open and manage my own business. I believe I am

the best candidate because of my hardwork and drive to be the best person I can be. I also believe

that I am always trying to make not only myself but others around me better at all times and I

think that is a very important skill in the career field.

I think that I am the best candidate for many reasons. One of them being that ever since I

was younger I have thought of opening my own personal business. It always seemed like the

right thing to do being that both of my parents have previously owned businesses. So it has

actually come natural to me to organize and run things. I chose to go to college because my

parents have always encouraged me to and they always wanted me to have a good education. I

also wanted to play sports in college and that dream of mine came true throughout my life.

Choosing my major was easy being that I wanted to own my own business in the future.

Business management is something that relatives of mine have taken in the past and said it

helped them to succeed in the business world. So choosing business management was really

simple. Some of my accomplishments are that I have been on the A honor roll throughout my

highschool career, another one is that I was selected as a football captain. Some of my extra

curricular activities are playing in competitive basebal leagues and also training for baseball. I

also really enjoy the outdoors and love to hunt and fish.
 My future plans are uncertain at this point. In the future I hope to play professional

baseball and have a life as an MLB player. Although I am hopeful of this dream I am also aware

that it is very unlikely that it will happen. My backup plan is to open my own business and train

baseball players. I hope to help kids like myself succeed at their dream in sports. I think to

myself that if I personally cannot make it I hope to be apart of something that helps other fullfill

their dreams. I also love the game of baseball and want to be around it for the rest of my life. In

order to open my business I will need to graduate with a bachelor's degree in business. Getting

the degree will make it much easier to run my business and be the best I can.

Again I think I am a very good candidate because of my hard work and dedication. I

think that there are not very many people who want to succeed as badly as me at their work. This

makes me a great candidate for almost any job where someone needs a leader to help their
