Political ideology is concerned with political ideas, theories, and motivations.

It represents a
particular way of seeing and interpreting political life from the perspective of a certain political
elite's interests and aims.

Each ideology has its own point of view on the political and socioeconomic evolution of
society, as well as its own techniques and means of resolving societal problems. Liberalism,
conservatism, and socialism are the three most basic philosophies.

The basic values of liberal ideology are the sacredness and inalienability of natural rights and
freedoms of the individual, their priority over the interests of society and the state. In the social
sphere, this principle was embodied in the assertion of the absolute value of the human person
and the equality of all people, the recognition of the inalienability of human rights to life. In the
economic sphere, the idea of a free market, unrestricted competition, was promoted. In the
political sphere, a call was formulated to recognize the rights of all individuals and groups to
manage social processes, to implement the separation of powers, the idea of a rule-of-law state
with limited opportunities for intervention in society.

Order, stability, and traditionalism are core principles of conservatism. These ideals are based
on political philosophy, which holds that society, and the state are the outcome of natural
development rather than a compact and organization of citizens, as liberalism holds. Because the
logic of progress comes from above, there is no need to intervene in the path of history. The
concepts of private property, free enterprise, and the market are all-natural outcomes of society's
evolution. Conservative political principles include a strong state, obvious political stratification,
where power belongs to the elite, and freedom is defined by citizens' and groups' conscious
loyalty.

The doctrine of Socialism was formulated in the concept of democratic socialism. The
following ideals are proclaimed as the main values: freedom; justice; solidarity. The Social
Democrats are convinced that democratic principles should be extended to all spheres: the
economy should be pluralistic; the opportunity to work and get an education should be provided
for all.

For myself, I can say that I am a centrist. I believe that society needs an honest democratic state
that does not go too far with violence and propaganda, but at the same time, I am not sure that
people need complete freedom. In turn, in the economy, I support a mixed system: on the one
hand, there should be the protection of the poor, on the other, freedom of entrepreneurship. We
can say that in the political system I adhere to the principle of the golden mean.

Despite this, according to the Constitution of Ukraine, there is no officially proclaimed political
ideology in the republic, which creates opportunities for the free expression of the will of
political and ideological views by both individual citizens and their associations.

Despite a wide range of ideological and political orientations and values, the Ukrainian nation
and its political class have a goal shared by most of the society - the creation and consolidation
of a national state.
