In ration cards, mistakes can be corrected from next month.

There will be lot of

doubts about this to people.

1. Remove name from ration card What to do?

a. For removing a name from a card and add to another taluk
Apply with a copy of the ration card by the cardholder.
b. To remove the name of the deceased
Apply with death certificate and copy of ration card by the senior member
included in the ration card.
2. What to do to add name to ration card?
a. Cardholders of the same taluk
If the members are of the same taluk, ration cardholder should apply in
white paper with copy of the ration card. Each cardholder must submit a
separate application in their taluks.
b. Cardholders of different taluks
To apply, first the applicant have to remove their name from the previous
taluk and include in the residing taluk with removal certificate.
3. Not included in anywhere in the country
Apply with certificate from MLA / MP / Panchayat President.
4. To add name of children under the age of 12
Apply with Birth Certificate.
5. To make correction in the Ration Card What to do?
a. For correcting names and house-name
The cardholder have to apply along with the One and Same certificate from
Village Office.
b. For Correcting Place,ward,house number
 Apply with residential certificate from Local body.
6. To add and correct jobs
Apply with Work-related authentication documents from the concerned
authorities.
7. Correting NRI remarks
You need to produce copies of canceled Passport.
8. To correct the income
Apply with income certificate of Village Officer.

All applications are to be applied by cardholders along with copy of ration card.
