Chapter-1

A dark, poorly lit road with a few cars parked. A man covered in
black dress, cap and mask stands face to face with a well
dressed, averagely sized guy. The black dress guy, in an impulse
, shoots the other guy in the head twice but no sound is
heard(due to the silencer) and immediately absconds the place.
The next day, the crime scene is filled with officers. As they
discuss theories and find clues in the crime scenes the body is
carried away. At the police station we see the commissioner
talking to the ACP in charge of the area. The ACP shows the file
related to the case, statements of the people who reside near the
crime scene and also a few things found at the crime scene,
which they hand over to the forensic department. Commissioner
says “The victim is just not any petty guy .He is X. He influence
extends beyond me as well. I am getting pressure from MLA
and MP’s. Mr. Kumaran , we have to find the killer ASAP.
Report each and every step done related to this case directly to
me.” ACP says “Sure sir.” salutes and leaves the office.
Meanwhile , at the Abcd school we see Rohit’s circling around
him and talk about the murder and they too discuss theories.
Rohit says “Thought it happened just a street away my house, I
never heard any sound”. His friend says “the killer would have
used a silencer”. As soon as he says this, teacher arrive and the
group gets scrambled.
During dinner at Rohit’s house, we see the ACP(who turns out
to be Rohit’s uncle), Rohit’s mother and Rohit have
dinner.Rohit’s mother says “it’s been 1 and a half years since
this selfish man(Rohit’s dad) ran away from the house. Also the
savings have started to reduce as there is no source of income.
Uncle asks “May I lend you some money?” She says “no thanks.
I think we can handle it. When we need money I will surely let
you know” Whilst they take Rohit gets reminded of his dad and
his eyes are filled with water. After dinner, uncle goes to his
room and justs reads the statements and sees the evidence to find
any lead. But unfortunately it’s a dead end. So he just leaves the
file on his table and goes to sleep.
Next morning, around 10:00 AM, Rohit’s uncle waits for the
jeep to go to the station. When the vehicle arrives, he sits in it.
Before they leave he calls out Rohit and tells him to bring the
files and evidence packets he left on the table in his room. Rohit
rushes to the room to get the file. He sees the photo of the killer
which was taken by a nearby CCTV camera. He sees the killer
fully covered in black dress and a green and black checked
mask. He stares at the photo for a while. His uncle screams out “
Rohit , I need the files, I am running late.”. He runs and drops
something from the evidence that falls in to a bucket. As Rohit
was in a hurry he doesn’t notice this and hands over the files to
his uncle and goes to the terrace to talk to a friend. As Rohit
talks to his friend his mother comes to the terrace to dry a few
cloths. She trips and the bucket falls from her hand. All the
clothes fall down and also the piece of evidence falls out of the
bucket. Seeing this Rohit goes to help his mother. While helping
her he finds the evidence near the clothes, looks at it for a
second and in a jiffy he keeps it in his pocket. He helps his mom
and runs to his room.
Whilst all this happens at Rohit’s house, the killer is lost in the
city .He is wearing a cap and had been wearing the same dress.
He goes around the city desperately searching for something. He
comes across a police station. He covers his face with a mask
immediately. Rohit’s uncle would be standing near the gate
talking to other officers. The killer gawks at the police station
for a few minutes. He thinks of going in and asking help but
changes his mind goes on. He also has very little money and
doesn’t know what to do. He walks and walks and he finds
himself near the crime scene. He sees Rohit’s house and walks
towards it.
Whilst killer does all this, Rohit goes to his room and locks
himself in. He sees the thing and notices that it’s a electronic
chip which shows time. But the dials were stuck at 3:17. He
rotates the crown at the side of the watch but rotates it a bit too
much as his hands slip. When he goes to rotate it back he clicks
it by mistake and just disappears from his room.
The killer stands in front of Rohit’s house an gazes at it for a
while. Mean while Rohit finds himself in a poorly lit bunker
with lots of photos in it. He is shocked, scared and confused
about what had just happened. He goes around the bunker and
finds an identical mask that the killer had worn in the photo
which was in his uncle’s file. His eyes expand and just passes
out.
