No, we don’t think it’s controversial, because when climate change is increasing the level
of water vapor in the atmosphere and is making water availability less predictable so this
lead to more intense rainstorm in some areas and drought condition in another areas.

1) Carbon sink (paragraph 3):- other name given to forests because of their ability to absorb
co2 from the environment.
2) Endanger (paragraph 3):- to put at risk of becoming extinct.
3) Polar (paragraph 3):- lies largely with in the arctic.
Air pollution:-afforestation, replacing fossil fuels by alternative energies like solar and
wind energy
Acid rain:-using renewable energy sources
Global warming:- using renewable energy sources, using mass transportation
4) What do you think of the afforestation program we had nationally in the recent past? How do
you think it can change the environment? What was your role in the campaign and what will you
do in the future?
It’s good, it can change the environment by cycling damaging carbon out of the atmosphere
and transform it to biomass through photosynthesis and it address other environmental
issues like soil erosion.
We didn’t participate before but we want to take part in the future by planting and
protecting programs.
