Basin of water Baby’s clothes
Baby soap, shampoo Diaper
Baby dry towel

5. Arrange the baby’s clothes and diaper.

6. Test the water for appropriate temperature with your elbow.
7. Undress the baby while supporting the head and neck or lay the
baby on a changing mat.
8. Hold the baby in football position.
9. Fold the ears while supporting the head and neck.
10. Cleanse the baby’s eyes with cotton balls soaked with warm
water from inner canthus to outer canthus.
11. Wash face with water only.
12. Shampoo hair and rinse thoroughly.
13. Put the baby in the basin, supporting properly the head and
shoulder.
14. Apply soap all over the body, giving particular attention to the
skin folds, rinse thoroughly from head to toes.
15. Cleanse the perineal area with soap and water.
16. Dry the baby carefully with the towel from head to toes. Put on a
clean nappy.
17. Dress the baby correctly with support. Wrap with blanket or
linen.
