However, there are three numbers in Arabic: ¢ Singular — Syaast * Dual - ¢ Plural - et! The dual is formed by adding the suflix fatha, alif and noon with kasrah (QI) in the nominative case (3! 25\S) and fatha, sukoon and noon with kasra (:3—-) in both the accusative and genitive case for masculine nouns.
