The pie chart provides information about distribution of visitors to different types of

tourist destinations in Britain in 1999.

As can be seen from the graph, Theme Parks was the most attractive area where many
visitors chose, while the Wildlife Parks & Zoos was the least visited place. And the
percentage of tourists visited in Backpool Pleasure Beach had the biggest one of the five
place in Theme Park.

The proportion of visitors in Theme Parks was at 38%, higher than the figure of
Museums & Galleries by only 1%. In contrast, the percentage of people visited wildlife
Parks & Zoos and Historic Houses & Monuments was quite low, accounting for 9% and
16% respectively. The figure of Wildlife Parks & Zoos was approximately one fourth of
the biggest.

In Theme Parks, the number of tourists who visited Backpool Pleasure Beach was the
most, at 47%. That was higher than the figure of Alton Towers and Pleasureland,
Southport by 30% and 31 % respectively. Moreover, the proportion of visitors in
Chessington World of Adventures had the same amount as Legoland, Windsor with 10%.
