For discharges with annual average flows greater than fifty thousand gallons per day through any single sampling location, the Local Maximum Limits and the
Maximum Allowable Analytical Detection Levels shall be one-half the values listed in the table, with the exception of copper, mercury, MTBE, nickel, and
silver, for which the limits shall remain 0.25 mg/L, 0.010 mg/L, 0.75 mg/L, 0.50 mg/L, and 0.25 mg/L, respectively, regardless of flow.
2
The local maximum copper limit for cooling systems with an average daily discharge of less than 2,000 gpd between the months of April through October,
Vehicle Services, Photo Processing, and Machine Shops shall be 2.0 mg/L. See Section 16.09.045 of the Sewer Use Ordinance for details and for Metal Finisher
requirements.
3
See page 2 for the list of specific TTO/STO pollutants included in the Local Maximum TTO/STO limit and the subset of the list (shown in the “Samp Req.”)
required to be analyzed for self-monitoring.
4
The local maximum zinc limit for vehicle service facilities shall be 4.0 mg/L.
5
Gravity separation at a temperature of 20°C, and a pH of 4.5.
6
The Local Maximum Suspended Solids Limit (SS Limit) in the table above applies to composite samples. The SS Limit for grab samples shall be 6,000 mg/L.
7
The Local Maximum Total Dissolved Solids Limit (TDS Limit) in the table above applies to composite samples. The TDS Limit for grab samples shall be 10,000
mg/L.

TTO Federal: Toxic organics regulated by Federal categorical standards as described in this permit and 40 CFR.
Sample Required: The Local Maximum TTO and STO limits and Federal TTO limit apply to all of the toxic organics checked in the TTO Local and TTO
Federal columns respectively. The Permittee shall conduct self-monitoring for all of the checked toxic organics in the Sampling Required columns above.
Method: Toxic organics marked with an asterisk (*) are included in and may be analyzed with the current EPA Method 601/602 or 624.
