Now-a-days in industrial area we come across many robots helping in supplying of spare
parts over long distances of manufacturing area. In such cases we need to have control over
them. Only those which are magnetically controlled are available. It is good to have human
intervention on their motion. So we here are presenting a robotic model which can be controlled
through a PC.

We have two main sections namely a RF transmitter and a receiver. RF transmitter is

interfaced with the PC through a parallel port (Printer port). Later on we transmit the control
signals through an antenna.

At the other end we have our receiver mounted on the robot. Based on the control signals
received by the receiving antenna, robot motion is determined. We have a synchronized encoder
and decoder pair. Encoder helps in coding the control signal received from PC (either 4bit or 8bit
code). These code words are framed and transmitted serially. Those received are decoded with
the decoder and given as input to a 8-Bit Microcontroller which is the heart of receiver to control
motion of the Robot. Its user friendly and GUI (Graphical User Interface) helps in superior
control.

Applications of such these machines can be used in Hospitals, Industries, Millitary

purposes and others with advanced features if installed to this fundamental model.
