It may be obvious that every family has its own rules.

Mine
has a few, apart from our traditional rules, especially you
are a foreigner that we have not met before.
First, if you are given a key to the street door it is then
your responsibility. If you lose the key you will be
responsible for the cost of having the lock replaced. It can
lead to the thieves break into my house.
One of other important rules is that you have to respect
other’s privacy in the house so that all family members are
expected to respect the privacy of yours.
At least but not last is that smoking is not allowed inside
the house.

Besides, the evening meal is a time that we all try to sit

together and talk about the day’s events and it is one of
the many family traditions that help to bond the family. If
you are not going to be home for a meal, please telephone
me or text my mobile before 5 pm. We usually eat
between 6 and 7 pm. If you are going to be late for a meal,
let me know so that I can leave something for you. You
can send a text message to my mobile. And breakfast is
generally a ‘help yourself meal’. I will show you where the
milk, eggs, bread and coffee is stored.

Moreover, you have to obey the curfew rules, Monday to

Friday: come home before 10 p.m, Saturday and Sunday:
you can come home later at 11 p.m. If you are not going to
be home on time, please call or text me a reason.
On the whole, There are some of the rules may seem
strange to you and that you will need time to adjust to
them. Please come and speak to me of any worries or
problems that I can help you with. I hope you’ll enjoy with
us
