DESCRIPTION In aqueous leave-in conditioner

XIAMETER PMX-1502 Fluid is
a blend of approximately 25%
of an ultra high viscosity
Dimethiconol gum in a volatile
blend of hydrocarbon and low
molecular weight
polydimethylsiloxane carrier
fluids.
HOW TO USE
When used in an anhydrous
hair serum XIAMETER PMX-
1502 Fluid provides excellent
luster and shine (Figure 1) as
well as the sensory after feel on
skin consistent with traditional
gum blends, a smooth feel
without tack or greasiness
(Figure 2).

Emulsion products:
XIAMETER PMX-1502 Fluid
can be incorporated directly
into the oil phase of the
formulation. If formulating at
temperatures above 70°C, it is
recommended to add
XIAMETER PMX-1502 Fluid
slowly after the formation of the
emulsion at temperatures
below 60°C (140 °F), using a
high shear mixer.
Non-emulsion products:
It is recommended to add
cosmetic ingredients to the gum
blend and not vice versa to
avoid the dimethiconol gum
precipitating out of the solution
due to an incompatibility with
other cosmetic ingredients.
