1) what is sales funnel?


a) A sales funnel is the marketing term of the journey potential customers
go through on the way to purchase. There are several steps to a sales
funnel, usually known as the top, middle and bottom of the funnel,
although these steps may vary depending on a company sales model.
2) what are the processes and stages involved in making a sale?
a) there are five stages for sales process, they are as follows
• Prospecting: Firstly you need someone to sell to. This is lead
generation or prospecting here you will create a list to find out
their contact information.
• Connecting: you only get chance at a first impression so make
it a good one! on this call introduce yourself and your company
but keep it lighthearted, personal and relevant.
• Qualifying and setting goals: during your exploratory call you
need to make sure you are pitching to the right person, then
the company has a need for your products and services and if
they are having issues with their current supplier or service.
• Demonstrating value: if you have a product that your prospects
will use, either physically or online, the demo stage is where
you prove that it is the right solution for your prospect and set
up a personalized demo.
• Closing the deal: you have qualified your lead and addressed
their concerns, now you need to close the deal and all of this
had been done using sales flow chart.

a. There are some helpful strategies for overcoming objections.

➢ Ask follow-up questions.
➢ Leverage social proof.
➢ Set a specific date and time to follow-up.
➢ Anticipate sales objection.
