3.Competency of the parties(capacity of the parties to contract)

2.Persons of unsoundmind.

3.Persons disqualified by law.

4.Lawful consideration:-

Getting something in Return (not necessarily money)

5.Legal Object:-

If the object is unlawful it is said to be legal object.Eg: Robert is looking for an job,and government
department have some vacancies but he can’t apply there because of his minimum qualification of the
required job,he asked john who was working there in the same company,Robert promises to pay some
amount for the job this contract is not valuable(unlaw).
