On June 24 of every year, peruvians celebrate the day of the peasant in the mountains and the

festival of San Juan in the Amazon. In my house we celebrate the day of San Juan more
because my mother was born in the city of Moyobamba, which is located in the San Martín
region.

On San Juan's day there is always a party in all the Peruvian jungle. People from all over Peru
enjoy the best foods in the Amazon in this day. I like the day of San Juan because my mother
and my aunts often prepare my favorite food called Juane.
