Because of social media, we have a wide network, and we are able to develop our technology skill. Social

for children to learn. Learning come from newer sources and not just their parent or teacher. In
addition, social media is an important part of lives of teenager and young adult. It has been observed
that social media makes people more empathetic, caring and relationship oriented. They express their

social media can also be a promotional land in business.

Besides the positive effect of social media, there are also negative effect that are harmful for user.
Someone who preoccupied with his social media account, mostly become difficult to socialize with
people around. This is because social media user are lazy to communicate or interact in the real world.
In addition, selfish attitude can arise for those who are addicted to social media, thus make it more self-
centered. In social network, we are free to write and spread anything. But we not realize, sometimes
we publish things that should not need to be known by the others. Not infrequently, social media is also
a place to show off, for the sake of recognition from the others. Social media can also lead to crime,
known as cyber crime. In addition, pornography is a content that often sought by social media user.
With technological sophistication, internet can spread pornography increasingly rampant. Social media
also make someone psychic disturbed. Increased anxiety levels, the emergence of jealousy and hatred,
depression, and self-confidence, all can be disturbed due to the pressure felt when using social media.
