1. Have you been living here for a long time? Yes. I've been living here my entire life. I
was born and i went to school here.
2. I practiced for two hours in the linguistic laboratory this morning and i did the same
thing yesterday morning.
3. “From where did you buy that wonderful bracelet?” “I did not buy it. My husband gave
it to me as a present for Christmas.”
4. “Why is the child crying, Beth? Didn't you feed it?” (also is 'you didn't feed it' correct?
i know we are supposed to put the verb first but is it that form correct as well?) “I fed
it 10 minutes ago, but it's been crying since then.”
5. I bought our new car last june but in the last few months i've been having problems
with it.
6. In the last month you've been asking me this stupid question almost every day! Don't
you think you should stop?
7. Matthew gave up on his job in San Diego and he's thinking to sell his house there
and to buy another one, in Chicago.
8. We've been working on this project for 2 weeks and we are nothing closer to finding
a better and optimal solution.
9. Goodness Gracious! Someone hardly recognizes you! You're trembling from all your
limbs, and your cheek is horribly swollen! Didn't you go to the dentist yet?
10. Oh god! I have been cooking, washing clothes and i have been vacuuming all
morning and now my back hurts and i am completely drained.
