Among these companies, Marigold, founded last year, START WITH EMAIL
already has around 20 engineers. Their objective? Make the
protocol accessible to different communities of developers.

Marigold is recruiting Remote Senior Software Engineers to

work on its existing projects but alsoto take the lead on new
projects.

Missions:

Contribute to the improvement of the protocol and

guarantee its security (testing & benchmarking)
Carry out the development of a Layer2 on the Tezos
blockchain
Facilitate contributions to the protocol
(documentation, article writing, organization and
participation in  meetups…)

As a senior, your role is also to drive the juniors and support

their skills development, and as a young company, Marigold
needs experienced profiles to structure itself and carry its
vision (business to developer).

Requirements:

You have an experience in functional programming: the

protocol is developed in OCaml, but experience in any
other language will be acknowledged (Scala,
ReasonML, F#, Haskell, Rust, Clojure)

Marigold is a dynamic and collaborative company,

established by Gabriel Alfour in November 2020,
focused on testing and developing upgrades to
the Tezos Protocol. After working on testing and
benchmarking the existing protocol code at
Nomadic Labs, Gabriel founded a new company
around the LIGO programming language. Then,
wanting to improve the performance of the Tezos
blockchain, he assembled a developer team and
founded Marigold. The team is fully remote, skill-
oriented, specializing in functional programming,
with the ability to understand Tezos code in a flat
organization. Marigold is dedicated to Tezos’
efficiency and is constantly working on technical
contributions. Doing so, it is fully-integrated in the
Tezos ecosystem.
