Abbreviations
- ch, chain
- sc, single crochet

- dc, double crochet

dec - single crochet decrease, crochet 2 sc together

inc - single crochet increase, crochet 2 sc from 1 stitch
sl st - slip stitch

Skip 2 stitches– this not dec, just skip 2 stitches, do not count
them.

As crochet work tends to twist to the right or left,

sometimes you need to adjust position of the round marker
(the beginning of the round). When you finish the current
round and notice that marker moves right, you need to
work one stitch into the first st of the next round and move
the round marker behind the last worked stitch. So the 2nd
st of the next round becomes the first now.

symmetrically

You have 39 stitches - 21 stitches – front part, 18 stitches -

back, and arms (12+12 = 12 stitches for each arm) = 63
stitches.
Crochet 9sc, place left arm and crochet 12sc, then 21sc –

Hair preparation

Goat hair

If the hair is the right color cut a piece of wool into small
pieces. Cut leather with a sharp knife (don’t use scissors to
avoid cutting the wool). Finally, you will have some squires of
leather with some wool on them.
https://www.etsy.com/shop/PaprikaCrochetDolls 33
If you wish dye the hair in the desired color with paint or tint
balm (before cutting) - according to the instructions for the
paint.

https://www.etsy.com/shop/PaprikaCrochetDolls 34
Head Use beige color, but you can crochet
first 5 rounds with hair color.
1st round – Start 6sc in a magic ring
2nd round – 6inc = 12sc
3rd round – (1sc, inc)Х6=18sc
4th round – (2sc, inc)Х6=24sc

Start attaching hair .
Attach every tress separately.
Insert hook into the head, catch
tress and pull wool tress outside.
Leather part of tress is some kind
of fixation of hair.

To make the process

easier, wet a bit hair.
Attach required number
of tresses to the head.

https://www.etsy.com/shop/PaprikaCrochetDolls 36
Hairline is between 6-7 rows in the front and between 8-9 rows
in the back of the head. Number of tresses depends on the
size of leather pieces and every tress. Hair thickener is bigger
in the front to have a perfect hair line, but decrease hair
thickener in the center and in the back.
Continue crochet the head.

20ty round – 3sc, dec, 16sc, sl st,

the first sc of the 24th row) – you get new round 26sc (22 –

Stuff head, cut yarn. Stuff the head. Thread a needle and pull

Ears
Pull thread out in the side between 15-16th

pull thread out between 19-20 row.

Wrap these stitches (7) with thread, every time pull thread
