The bar chart illustrates the changes in four countries' reliance on the grown of inhabitants in urban

areas from 1950 to 2030. At first glance, it can be seen that this period witnessed an exponential
growing relies on urbanization. Almost all citizens are likely to live in the cities in the future.

It is clear that initially, in 1950, on average, 29 percent of citizens of the world lived in urban cities on
average. In this time, the highest percentage of the residents who lived in built-up was in Latin America
Caribbean, which was 42 percent. In Africa and Asia, there were reached a low point. It took over 15 and
17 percentage respectively. After 57 years, the rate of urban area population got just under a half in the
whole world. Latin America Caribbean once again had the highest proportion in 2007. However, both
Africa and Asia increased modestly, over 37 and 41 percent. It is projected that 60 percent of citizens
would live in the metropolis in the future. This percentage would fluctuate to a peak of over 84 percent
in Latin America Caribbean in 2030. Both in Africa and Asia account for just over half a total of the
proportion of the population in urban areas in 2030.
