SOMETHING I WILL ALWAYS TREASURE

My son have been study English in the Universidad Nacional de Colombia from 6 years ago, each
semester teachers gave to their students little presents when they finish each term like a sweets,
chocolates, something made for themselves, or they did different activities, and so the students
enjoying the activities were guided by the teacher, but after of pandemic classes were given to the
students by their teachers through computers, so teachers could offer anything to kids at the end of
terms, but this semester my teacher’s son designed a certificate which she does an acknowledgement to
kids.

My teacher’s son did a meeting with family’s parents where the kids were recognized like champions
because they were studying every day from Monday to Friday in their schools, doing homework,
through of the computer, and after that they use their Saturdays to continue studying, against they do
other kind of activities like practice sports as football, basketball, etc., or invest this time in travels or
simply rest.

Tired in the students’ face was noticed by the teacher over all in this part of the year because every
academic activities were being given in their schools, for example in case of my son, he had to finish
several homework including blueprint of technical drawing, final projects in different topics like
electronical, biologist between others, fortunately all homework was delivered just in time, but only
when teacher told us I thought in this facts.

Although throughout of these years, many teachers had recognized the goals of our children, this time is
different because the virtual education has brought changes in our lifestyle, because they have been
sitting in front of a computer, because the virus COVID 19 forced us stay in our home, until vaccines
were injected in all of us, but still there are many places that continue with home activities, like study,
work, buy things and other.

For these reasons was important for me that certificate because she takes her time to design it, giving
importance to their work during this term, the text of the certificate is: proudly presented to (NAME OF
STUDENT), this certificate is given for having accomplish the English level 12 ADVENTURERS
CHELLENGERS whit satisfactory grades. Finally, the effort of us as parents were recognized by the
teacher for our children’s goals.
