Fuente: SENA

In this activity you are going to participate in the blog “What you wouldn’t
recommend”, in order to talk about a book or a movie you recently saw or read. The
only requirement for choosing your book or film is that you have not enjoyed it at all.
After selecting it, you need to write in the blog a short review of it explaining your
reasons for not to recommending it. When writing your review, take into account the
following questions you need to answer:

 If your review is about a book:

o Who wrote the book?

o When was it published?
o Where does the story take place?
o What is the book about?
o Why didn’t you like it?
o Was there something you liked about the book?
o Why did you read it?
 If your review is about a movie: The Last Temptation of Christ

o Who directed it? Directed by Martin Scorsese

o When was it premiered? In 1988
o Where does the story take place? In Morocco, officially the Kingdom of Morocco,
is the northwesternmost country in the Maghreb region of North Africa.
o What is the movie about? is a religious epic drama film as an adaptation of Nikos
Kazantzakis' controversial 1955 novel The Last Temptation of Christ.
o Who are the main actors? The film, starring Willem Dafoe, Harvey Keitel, Barbara
Hershey, Andre Gregory, Harry Dean Stanton and David Bowie.
o Why didn’t you like it? The film depicts the life of Jesus Christ and his struggle with
various forms of temptation including fear, doubt, depression, reluctance and lust, but
the movie is too explicit with temptations, and tempted by imagining himself engaged
in sexual activities, which has caused outrage from me.
o Was there something you liked about the movie? The first part was like a typical
Holy week movie but just before that Christ were died all changed, because the
devil offered Christ the “opportunity” to continuo living but under his conditions.
o Why did you watch it? Because I was studying my first semester in the University
and I had a teacher who thought that got out to see different kind of theater genre
should open our mind.

Here is an example:

I recently saw the movie “2012 end of

the world”. I saw the movie because it
was the only choice available on TV on a
