Dramatic Single Light Portraiture Shoots
Shoot #1 - High-Speed Sync
In this shoot, Matt talks you through Sync Speed -what it is, how it works, and how you can work around
this with high-speed sync technology.

Shoot #2 - Silhouettes
A messy house, a cluttered room, and a simple sliding door. Put this together and you may not have
much of an image. But - add in a single off-camera flash and you can create magic!

Shoot #3 - Invisible Lighting

Here we put together a classy 1920’s Glamor style portrait of Yasmin by making use of the available
room light and augmenting it with a small amount of added light.

Shoot #4 - Smoke, powder & dance

Shooting with a professional dancer is a real treat - and it is hard to go wrong! But rather than simply
catching him in motion, we set out to create a dramatic action shot using smoke, powder, and rear light-
ing.

Shoot #5 - Creating Shadows

So often we are trying to minimize or soften shadows - Not Here! In this shoot, you will learn how to
vary your light source to make the shadows as hard or dark as you like. Plus learn how to create interest-
ing shadow patterns on your subject and the scene to create a more dynamic and layered image.

I’ve watched other educational videos on lighting, and I find this was by far, the most informative and
entertaining! Amazing work guys! can’t wait for Lighting 201! - Jason W.

I was hesitant to purchase this course, especially after having bought other SLR Lounge products in the
past and never really sitting down to use or watch them. I decided to buy this anyway and watched it
while on a plane flight to Mexico. I have to say -- I learned so much from the first 4 chapters, I was ex-
tremely pleased I bought it! It has made me so much more confident with Flash photography, helped me
understand why I failed so miserably in the past with multiple flashes, and is a good starting point to get
to the next level. As soon as I got home, I set up multiple flashes right before sunset, tried out whatever
I still remembered from the courses, and sure enough: the pictures came out much, much better. In 3
weeks, I’ll have an outdoor wedding to shoot -- I’ll be a nervous wreck since this would be my first one
where flash cannot be bounced off any walls or ceiling. However, with what I have learned through this
course, I am hopeful that this will be one of my best work yet. - Michael Yuen

PURPOSE
In this course, you are going to learn to reframe how you think about photography and learn to produce
some of the most exquisite work of your life.

QUICK TIP
Regarding 4 Steps to Photoshop Artistry Using Fine Art Grunge Techniques:
Here’s a mental trick to get you started. Think of some of your favorite shots. But instead of imagining
your photos all printed pretty and perfect, imagine them layered-in and composited with other images
and rendered as a painted canvas.

DON’T MISS…
This short exercise on How Thinking Film and Shooting Digital Can Improve Your Photography

QUOTE
Sometimes we forget that at our core we are ARTISTS. Owning a Canon 5D Mark III rig and enough
lighting gear to stage a Pink Floyd reunion tour doesn’t change that. Just because we spend so much
time trying to capture the perfect shot doesn’t mean that we can’t switch it up now and then and treat
our images (even our mistakes, even our botched shots) as nothing more than the starting point in more
elaborate artistic compositions.

INFORMATION
We all love what digital photography has made possible. But there are elements of film photography we
might embrace which will not only make us better photographers but transform our relationship to the
craft, infusing our work with meaning and renewed passion.

And then too there is the LOOK of classic film photography, which we can now emulate beautifully with
software.

LIGHTROOM PRESETS

Contributor: Nicole S. Young LOGIN NOW

PURPOSE
Creative Control 1 Lightroom Presets:
This special preset pack includes 100 presets you can use to completely process your photographs from
start-to-finish. You can selectively edit the colors, tones, contrast, and much more just by working your
way through each sub-set. It’s an excellent way to quickly create a polished image and control the com-
plete look of your photographs, or to make a few changes to any of your existing presets.

Creative Control 2 Lightroom Presets

This special preset pack includes over 100 presets you can use to process your photographs from start-
to-finish. You can selectively edit the colors, tones, contrast, and much more just by working your way
through each sub-set. It’s an excellent way to quickly create a polished image and control the complete
look of your photographs, or to make a few changes to any of your existing presets.

QUICK TIP
Shift color with a gradient map
Another way to boost the color in an image is to change it. There are many ways to do this in photo ap-
plications, but one of my favorites is with the Gradient Map adjustment layer in Photoshop. This “maps”
colors to the tones in an image, allowing you to shift the color (or change it completely). You can also
combine it with blending modes to intensify or alter the effect. Learn more HERE.

SOFTWARE NEEDED
This preset pack is optimized to work with and compatible with Lightroom 4, 5, & 6/CC as well as Adobe
Camera Raw 7, 8, and 9 (Photoshop).

**The new “Radial Gradient” presets will only work in Lightroom 5 & 6/CC (they will appear in Lightroom
4 but will not add any effects when applied)

**Both “Linear Gradient” and “Radial Gradients” are not included in the Photoshop ACR pack (ACR does
not support gradient filters with presets)

DON’T MISS…
Download Nicolesy’s Free Lightroom Preset Pack HERE. The pack includes 8 presets and is also compati-
ble with Lightroom 4/5/6/CC.

Because photography is so integrated into life that it would be kind of soul-sucking to do it, just for money. I
think it is important to do it, to photograph what you love.

INFORMATION
Between both of these preset packs, you will receive over 200 presets you can use to process your pho-
tographs from start-to-finish.

You can selectively edit the colors, tones, contrast, and much more just by working your way through
each sub-set. These presets are an excellent way to quickly create a polished image and control the com-
plete look of your photographs, or to make a few changes to any of your existing presets.

Creative Control 1 Lightroom Presets include:

• 100 develop presets, plus 9 “Reset” presets (LR4, LR5, & LR6/CC)
• 74 Adobe Camera Raw presets, plus 7 “Reset” presets (ACR7, ACR8, & ACR9)
• Documentation and Installation Instructions

Creative Control 2 Lightroom Presets include:

• 98 develop presets, plus 13 “Reset” presets (LR4, LR5, & LR6/CC). Includes both .lrtemplate and .xmp
files for all versions of Lightroom.
• 10 “Kickstart” presets to get your post-processing off to a good start
• 5 “Saved preset” spots for you to save your own preset combinations
• 104 Adobe Camera Raw presets, plus 11 “Reset” presets (ACR7 & ACR8)

other preset pack in the Nicolesy Store.

Essential Color Photoshop Actions - Set I
This is an essential set for any photographer looking to speed up their workflow & add a vibrant editorial
look to their imagery. It doesn’t matter whether you shoot fashion, beauty, lifestyle, portraiture, or wed-
dings - this set will help elevate your portfolio & add an additional level of consistency to your workflow.

Essential Color Photoshop Actions - Set II

This set features a beautiful array of color tones - including my go-to toning approaches & a few ‘paint-
erly’ techniques. I enjoy using these actions on my studio portrait work with textured or darker back-
drops, or on my fashion editorial (both in the studio & on location) work when I want to enhance the
mood. Versatility is a big part of this set – with color tones that range from warm to cool and everything
in-between - you’ll be sure to find your favorite actions & recipes in no time!

QUICK TIP
All of my Photoshop Action sets have been tested on a wide variety of images to help you get the most
out of the collections. Essential Color Set II actions work well with many lighting scenarios but showcase
their results best on images that are more neutral-toned overall. They also work beautifully in the studio
with soft to hard light, making a well-rounded set.

SOFTWARE NEEDED
• Compatible with MAC & PC and Photoshop CS4-CS6 & CC.
• Fully compatible with JPEG and RAW images but best used on RAW image format.
• Actions are non-destructive & customizable (visible adjustment layers & masks).

TUTORIAL
Contributor: Gavin Hardcastle

PURPOSE
This online photography course shows you Gavin’s entire image post-processing workflow with specific
emphasis on how I handle snow and ice. I also show you how I blend multiple exposures to account for
dynamic range and focus stacking.

QUICK TIP
Stop and study the location to visualize your shot. Become familiar with different focal lengths and lens-
es so that you know which one will work best for the conditions.

I also teach my ’20 in 2’ method whereby I take 20 or more really rough and quick shots to see which
compositions work best. Once I know where the shot lives I’ll then set up the tripod and wait for the
best light.

Also, don’t be married to one idea. Be prepared to ditch your first idea and move with the light.

Work with what you’ve got and rinse as much image quality and creativity as you can with your gear. Ex-
haust the capabilities of your gear before upgrading. This will make you a better photographer in the end.

SOFTWARE NEEDED
In Frozen Waterfall Photography video tutorials, Gavin performs the entire process with ACR (Adobe
Camera RAW) and Adobe Photoshop. He uses Adobe Bridge as a file viewer. Recommendation: Have the
latest versions of these three apps installed so that your experience matches perfectly with mine.
The Composition Made Easy HD videos in this course are MP4 video files and will play on any device.

“Ryan is a part of a small group of photographers that are leading the world in landscape photography. This
group of Pacific North West photographers that include some of the biggest names out there are at the cutting
edge, developing new techniques and refining their style insures that the rest of us are playing catch up. Ryan
produces images that break all the rules and takes your breath away. His images are often very dark but have a
strong highlight. Ryan also changed the way we can “paint with light” . Despite being what I consider the best in
the world today, he is insanely down to earth. I have to say I am a little guilty of stalking this guy. I spend hours
looking at his images trying to learn what makes them better than the rest so that hopefully one day I can use it
to improve my own photography.” - Rodney

INFORMATION
Capture the Night Bundle video goes into thorough detail about Ryan’s theory for what makes a great
composition in these dark scenes, the three different ways he captures images at night, and the various
techniques used to process photos taken after the sun goes down!

After that, we wrap up with Arild Heitmann’s video as he goes into the most detailed instruction on the
market for processing your images of the Aurora Borealis. Colors, textures, noise, focus stacking in the
dark, etc. This video covers it all and leaves you ready to take on the Northern Lights.

The ‘Capture the Night’ bundle is the most comprehensive processing tutorials focusing on night pho-
tography and the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). This bundle teaches you everything you need to
know about the theory of capturing an image in the dark, overcoming hurdles in the field and how to
make the most out of it in post-processing.

Ryan and Arild cover both basic and advanced techniques including noise reduction, mastering night
colors, bringing out textures in the night sky and focus stacking in the dark.

TONE AND DETAIL FOR
LIGHTROOM
Contributor: Christopher O’Donnell LOGIN NOW

PURPOSE
Chris O’Donnell created the Tone & Detail for Lightroom course…because it will grant you absolute clari-
ty on two very important things:

• How exactly to use the tools of Lightroom to enhance your tone

• Detail (how they function “under the hood)…

The result? A quicker road to higher quality photographs. And even better, you’ll remove all guesswork
and gain confidence in your own abilities…which makes the darkroom a fun place to be.

QUICK TIP
Black and White Points: Available Tones vs. Actual Tones:

When using curves in either Lightroom or Photoshop, you are manipulating two environments: the avail-
ables tones (what you can change your pixels to) and the actual tones (what the pixels currently are).

The easiest way to understand how this works is to picture your black and white points as brackets. In-
side of these brackets (or the space between the black and white points) defines the tonal range you are
currently working with.

scape photographers. These instant downloads are 100% free, and are core lessons directly from my paid

QUOTE
Trying to process an image without knowing exactly HOW to use your tools properly is a lot like driving
with the emergency brake on. Yes, you may move forward…but you’ll go so much faster if you take your
foot off the brake.
TONE AND DETAIL FOR LIGHTROOM
Contributor: Christopher O’Donnell

INFORMATION
If there’s one thing you could do right now to greatly improve the quality of your photographs, it would
be to learn how to PROPERLY use the tools of Lightroom (or ACR) to enhance tone and detail…hands-
down.

Raw processing tools such as the histogram, curves, and your tonal sliders directly affect your contrast,
luminosity, and color…which as you probably know, make up the structure of your image. And the quality
of that structure (or foundation) will affect everything you do in the darkroom.

The Tone & Detail for Lightroom course will help!

ESSENTIAL PHOTOSHOP FOR
LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY
Contributor: Nick Page LOGIN NOW

PURPOSE
In these videos, Nick walks through all of the tools, techniques, and workflows that make Photoshop so
powerful.

QUICK TIPS
Latch onto the photographers that are better than you. Figure out what it is that you like about their
photography more than your own, and that will give you a direction in which to improve with your own
work.

Pick on your weaknesses. To improve at anything, it’s all about figuring out what your weaknesses are,
then working at improving in that area. Sometimes it’s a concept such as composition, for others, it’s
just getting out and actually making the time when the conditions are right. Either way, working on your
weaknesses will make you a more well rounded photographer in the end.

Shoot with the future in mind. Landscape photographers are one of the rare breeds that tend to under
shoot. They will travel across the country, or even the world and take 10 photos of a location some-
times. In the beginning, we make lots of mistakes, and later on, when we look at those photos, we often
find ourselves saying… well I will have to go back. When I shoot a hard-to-get-to location, I try to shoot
it in every way I can think of, lots of different compositions, focal lengths, etc. That way when future

Most professional photographers only show their best work after processing, so it’s easy for people start-
ing out in photography to think: ‘I’m never going to be able to do that’… I like to think my post-process-
ing workshops help to cover a bridge: they show that, although you have to get it ‘as right as possible in
camera’, the digital darkroom offers an impressive additional vocabulary to make your pictures speak out.

In this 3+ hour masterclass, Fujifilm ambassador and Adobe Lightroom Certified Expert, Piet Van den
Eynde, you can follow along as he lights and edits five different portraits of steampunk model Major
Theodoricus.

Piet reveals how he combines lighting and postprocessing techniques to create an edgy, contemporary

MANAGE FIND SHARE - SIMPLE AND FAST

Contributor: Excire Inc. Visit Site

PURPOSE
Excire Foto is a powerful app designed for easy photo management and quick content-based browsing.
Numerous smart features help you get organized and find the photos you are looking for.

QUICK TIP
You can use all your CPU cores, which can be complex… but a big win in efficiency. You will also have
the capacity to dump metadata to a sidecar file because, if you edit large images frequently, you’ll save
time backing up your system if the small sidecar files are changed.

SOFTWARE NEEDED
NOTE: Once you have downloaded our software, you will need to install Excire Foto on your computer.
Under macOS, please unzip the appropriate ZIP file and mount the appropriate disk image (DMG file).

Now you only have to start our installation program, which will guide you through the installation step by
step. Windows users only need to start the downloaded executable file (*.exe) and follow the installation
instructions.

We support the following image formats: .3fr, .arw, .cr2, .cr3 (only Mac and with macOS 10.15), .crw,
.dcr, .dng, .erf, .gpr, .iiq, .kdc, .mef, .mos, .mrw, .nef, .nrw, .orf, .pef, .ppm, .raf, .raw, .rw2, .sr2, .srf, .srw,
.x3f, .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe, .jfif, .png, .pgm, .tif, .tiff

Please note that some compressed variants of these formats are available from us or are not supported
by us or the libraries we use. Therefore we recommend to test Excire Foto with your own photos before
buying.

We recommend Windows users to install the Microsoft Raw image extension: Download

What sets Excire Foto apart from its plugin counterpart is the ability to organize right within the program. You
can create collections and groups of images, making it easy to go back and find results later. You can also see
recent results from each search function.

Excire Foto also works with your third-party editing platform, letting you filter by things like ratings (if your editor
supports sidecar XMP files). - photofocus

You’ll never need to hunt and peck for the photos you want again - Excire will help streamline that process and
organize your photos, too. - photographytalk

“Excire Foto automatically analyzes and tags the photos in a user’s collection, with keywords. Whether the pho-
tos are from a beach vacation or a family celebration, Excire Foto AI finds the photos in a flash and brings the
otherwise hidden photo-treasures to light.”

“This way, even a large collection of photos finally can feel like the familiar old shoebox in which many genera-
tions of photographers had their photos at hand and ready to show their families and friends alike,” said Erhardt
Barth, founder and president, Excire. Users can export photos via Dropbox or Google Drive; image keywords
can also be exported separately and used elsewhere.

INFORMATION
Manage find share - simple and fast
Excire Foto as your main photo management app can help you with:
Managing your photos with Excire Foto is efficient, safe, and fun. Depending on your camera and further
preferences, you can then use your favorite program to edit photos. To do so, just use the ‘Open with’
function.

Excire Foto for keywording

A minimalistic workflow: Excire Foto is used to compute keywords for all photos and transfer them to
the respective photo or branch/XMP files. Excire keywords then become available in the spotlight search
of your file browser in Windows or macOS, as well as other applications such as Lightroom.

Excire Foto for culling

In addition to keywording, Excire Foto can also be used to rate and cull images. Common stars, flags, and
colors are available for this purpose, making a selection of relevant photos easy and fast. Specific content
recognized by Excire Foto, such as ‘eyes closed’ and ‘smile’, can further support culling.

Find the user manual here and on our tutorial page many useful numerous tutorials and explanations are
available.

In the near future, Excire Foto will offer a whole range of additional tools for culling, such as intelligent
focus control and motive clustering.

ILLUMINATING THE FACE: LIGHTING
FOR HEADSHOTS AND PORTRAITS
Contributor: Fstoppers .com LOGIN NOW

PURPOSE
The Illuminating The Face: Lighting for Headshots and Portraits will help you to view images taken by
other photographers and understand exactly how that image was lit simply by looking at the shadow
angle, depth, sharpness, falloff, and catch lights.

QUICK TIP
Check out this tutorial to prepare you for the Illuminating The Face Lighting for Headshots and Portraits
With Peter Hurley.

DON’T MISS…
The opportunity to study models faces and by the end of the tutorial you will have a completely new
outlook on lighting cast on the human face.

Every time Peter moves a light or changes a power setting, you will be able to see that change on the
models face.

QUOTE
I finished watching Peter’s new video last night, “Illuminating the Face” and I have to say, the guy knows his
stuff. We’ve all known that. But now we see the technical side of Peter. We’ve all seen him in action as that
crazy-haired ball of energy and how he can pull expression from his subjects through coaching. This is the other
side of Peter Hurley. A very methodical technician of light who chases after the little nuances in an image (what
I’ve always considered the most difficult to master, the last 10%). This was a day 1 purchase for me and it’s
been one of the best tutorials I’ve seen. If you have his first DVD, this one is the perfect companion that covers
everything technical about light. - LH, Customer

INFORMATION
This tutorial is not a lesson in camera settings or ratios. Instead of teaching you to mimic light and cam-
era settings, Peter Hurley teaches you to see light in a new and detailed way.

Instead of teaching you to recreate Peter’s shots, Peter will teach you how to sculpt the light and notice
subtleties so you can create your own unique images and personal style.

Learn Different Genres Of Lighting

For the first 3 hours Peter goes over the basics of lighting and individual lighting modifiers. You will be
able to compare hard light to umbrellas to softboxes to beauty dishes to ring flashes and other light
shaping modifiers. Once you have an understanding of the available tools, Peter designs 6 completely

different images using all of the modifiers at his disposal. By the end of this tutorial you should have a
solid understanding of classic, beauty, fashion, and edgy lighting.

Filmed With 4 Cameras and Proportional Modeling Lights

Peter and the Fstoppers team spent 3 days planning and testing, and 6 days filming this detailed video.
By using flash heads with proportional modeling lights, Peter is able to spend the first 3 hours shooting
without strobe which allows you to clearly see every subtle lighting change he makes. The Fstoppers
crew recorded the entire process with 4 cameras running simultaneously so that you will be able to see
the shoot from every angle, including a video camera that mimics Peter’s still camera. Every time Peter
moves a light or changes a power setting, you will be able to see that change on the models face.

timelapses in the most efficient way possible. If you have a basic understanding of your camera you’ll be
able to create world class timelapse footage in no time.

There are simply no free apps available that do a good enough job. The exception is StarStax in the Astro
guide, which is used to create star trail images.

For basic timelapse editing I recommend getting Lightroom and LRTimelapse. You can download Light-
room as part of a discounted photo bundle along with Photoshop.

For the most advanced editing options and complete control over all parameters I recommend Light-

DARK PROCESSING FOR
PHOTOSHOP
Contributor: Christopher O’Donnell LOGIN NOW

PURPOSE
This 1.5-hour Dark Processing for Photoshop tutorial is jam-packed with information to help walk you
through over a dozen of Christopher’s best processing techniques he uses to enhance colors, tone, and
detail.

QUICK TIP
Check out this article on The Difference Between “Editing” and “Processing” in Photoshop.

SOFTWARE NEEDED
Photoshop

QUOTE
“Dark processing” is a fun technique, and can completely transform the atmosphere of a photograph.

INFORMATION
Dark processing is the art of sculpting shadow around light…where you first darken the environment and
then gently (and purposefully) build up the highlights back into the image.
The result? An ethereal, harmonious environment that is exploding depth and interest by creating around
the absence of light.

• First, we’ll “identify” the creative direction for the image…discussing why this photo makes a strong
candidate for dark processing and the particular challenges we’re going to work on.
• Then we’ll properly prep the raw file by performing some perspective warping to correct for wide-an-
gle distortion…as well as rebalancing the composition for a more effective frame.
• Next, we’ll pull out as much detail as possible by “stretching the histogram”…adding more detail to the
deeper shadows and brighter highlights, as well as minimizing any distractions.

Once our base image is primed and ready, you will then start to carve out the flow and balance of the
composition…how you can lead the eyes through the frame and tell a story through processing.
We will dodge and burn and work on color grading. Using techniques that strengthen color quality and
separation but in a muted way, we will enhance the dark atmosphere, not distract from it.

We will also learn how to build up an image deliberately and gradually through small, but meaningful
shifts in light, texture, and color in a 100% non-destructive environment…as opposed to the usual brute-
force adjustments that tend to destroy the detail.

CATALOG CLEANUP FOR
LIGHTROOM
Contributor: Christopher O’Donnell LOGIN NOW

PURPOSE
Christopher O’Donnell’s Catalog Cleanup for Lightroom course shows you the best tools of Lightroom
for cleaning up your catalog…and how to develop an intuitive system to STAY organized.

QUICK TIP
In reality, the system that will serve you best (and one that you can remain consistent with) is one that
you design yourself. Once you clean up your catalog and develop a game plan moving forward, it’s in-
credibly simple to keep things tidy….and takes just 1 or 2 minutes of maintenance at every import.

SOFTWARE NEEDED
Lightroom

DON’T MISS…
Rename your image files correctly. Many can benefit from this information whether they are photogra-
phers or just need to organize their files in any home PC.

QUOTE
I believe that the uniqueness of the industry is what makes it possible for there to be many professional
photographers and still be able to earn a living by doing what they love. Not every “consumer,” whether
it be a client, student, or an appreciator of art, is looking for the same result, so there is plenty of oppor-
tunity to go around.

INFORMATION
Does your Lightroom catalog need some “spring cleaning”?

This can be a massively overwhelming project…especially when dealing with thousands of images (and
their collections and keywords).

What you’ll learn:

• How to resolve missing images and folders (and how to prevent them from going missing altogether).
• Cleaning up your collections and folders into a sensical order.
• How to organize your keywords in a strategic way, rather than simply adding every conceivable key-
word you can think of.
• How to rename your image files correctly, so you can more easily keep track of them outside of
Lightroom.
CATALOG CLEANUP FOR LIGHTROOM
Contributor: Christopher O’Donnell

• Most importantly…you’ll learn how to stay organized moving forward (so you don’t have to clean up
again) by creating a system that compliments how you think.

Developing the right system (for YOU) is something that naturally evolves over time as you refine your
craft. This means that you probably have a large collection of redundant keywords, disorganized collec-
tions, and perhaps even missing files and folders…..which can grow quite large over the years. Or per-
haps you’re brand new to Lightroom and want to make sure you get things right from the beginning.

So for this module, I’ll be walking you through my ultimate clean-up workflow step-by-step, for a neat
and tidy catalog…as well as showing you several strategies for staying organized from this point forward.
This five-step process is the system that I’ve used for years now, and it’s never failed me.

QUOTE
“Spyros has the ability to teach the beginner, intermediate and the professional photog everything about pho-
tography in a way that so easily understood. He makes it fun to learn, instead of being a drag.” -Chris Noe

INFORMATION:
As a photographer, you can take photos, or you can create images, and there is a distinct difference
between the two.

Taking pictures is grabbing the camera, pointing it at whatever, and taking a photo.
Maybe you’re in auto and you’re literally just pointing the camera and pushing the button. Or maybe
you’re in manual mode and you’ve taken the time to get an exposure value of 0, and maybe you’ve
thrown a bit of shallow depth of field in there, but by and large, taking pictures is just snapping away
without much thought or intention.

Everyone has the right to enjoy photography how they choose, and nobody should ever be criticized for
that; but maybe you want more, and that means you need to embrace the idea of putting more intent
into your work.

Beyond Manual Mode is all about building on the fundamentals to help you do two things:
• To learn more about the camera and how it works so that you can use your camera to its maximum
potential.
• To embrace and extend your creativity so that you make images instead of just taking photos.

QUOTE
Portrait retouching has become a hot-button topic, but if you are using a high quality camera and lens, you
often capture much more detail than you would ever notice were simply chatting with your subject over a cup
of coffee. In my opinion, subtle retouching is as essential as good lighting and wearing make up for a shoot. I like
to reduce the appearance of pores, soften any discoloration under the eyes and clone out any stray hairs from
the face.

Subtle Retouching Is Not a Crime.
