Assignment Guidelines
Individual Assignment

Objectives of the assignment

1. To give a deep understanding about “Pricing and discounting”.
2. To make you aware about entering company information and transaction in to the
Sage line 50 software.

Tasks to be completed

1. Refer the lesson “Pricing and discounting” (you can refer the “Help” menu in the
sage software) and make sure about following areas.

a. Pricing
• Special Customer Pricing
• Price list for group of customers

b. Discounting
• Good customer/Standard discounting
• Discount by invoice value
• Discount by quantity sold
• Early settlement discount

Finally the output should be a well prepared report about the lesson Pricing &
discounting. It should consists with appropriate examples (you are free to give
appropriate and relevant examples) with relevant path for entering information to the
software (Students should write the path for entering information and not need to enter
information in to the software). The report should be a creative and attractive report (use
your previous IT knowledge also).

Date of Submission : Upload to the LMS, one week after the examination
File Format : PDF Format
Rename Your PDF File : MGT-2016-2017-005 (Don’t short the year as 16-17, don’t
short the registration number as 5. This is an example and you must enter your correct
registration number.
