APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT SAFETY HEALTH

ENVIRONMENTAL & QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER

I write to apply for above post in your organisation.

I have competency in Project Planning, Implementation, Budgeting, Monitoring and

Evaluation in various disciplines, with hands-on skills in Occupation Health and Safety,
Environmental Impact Assessment, Community and Institution capacity building. I have
worked with communities in areas of HIV/AIDS, Food and Nutrition, Malaria Prevention,
Water and Sanitation Hygiene with a strong advocacy background

I have worked with Ministry of Health and Population mainly in Dowa and Phalombe
Districts , MOTA-ENGIL , China Civil fulfilling different programs of which Occupation
Health and Safety was part and parcel and now I’m Working as an Outreach Worker for
Family Association of Malawi as an outreach worker in the Joint TB/ HIV&AIDS Program.
Social communicator, counseling, Data collection tool formulation, Data collection, Data
compilation & Analysis, Report writing and Presentation are some of responsibilities that
were involved among others

I am a holder of Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health 2008-2011 from the

University of Malawi -The Malawi Polytechnic, I have good computer skills, with knowledge
in packages like: Microsoft Office, SPSS and other Statistical Packages. I have the ability to
ride a Motorcycle and I have a clean Driving License, however attached is my Curriculum
