SADAS ENGINE V 9.0

COMMUNICATION ENCRYPTING

Communication between Sadas client and server takes place on proprietary application protocol based
on Berkeley Sockets and TCP / IP transport layer with an unencrypted message exchange. Increasingly
high levels of security require that data are protected from intrusions at all stages of a process.
It is therefore necessary to implement encrypted communication between client and server with the
highest levels of state-of-the-art security. At the same time, particular attention must be paid to the
performance of the encryption / decryption algorithms because they could negatively affect the overall
performance of the system.

NEW LIKE INDICES

The features of Sadas are essentially based on the massive use of specialized indexes for specific
operators of the access plans of a query.
The research activity carried out in collaboration with the University of Pisa led to the prototyping of a
specialized index for searches with the LIKE operator, the Suffix Array Index, used effectively in searches
on unstructured information by search engines.
