METHODOLOGY

a. Research Design:

A Qualitative design was utilized.

b. Respondent of the Study

50 identified reluctant learners in Intermediate classes of Trinidad Central

Elementary School

C. Sampling Procedure

The researcher utilized purposive sampling wherein reluctant learners were being

identified.

c. Data Collection

Data collected based on learners school learners profile and learning areas

performance in answering LAS through depth one on one interview through home

visitation.

d. Research Ethic

The researchers parents consent by sending a letter asking permission to allow their

children to be one of the respondents. This in line with child protection policy.

e. Instrumentation

The instrument utilized were the Learners Activity Sheet in Quarter 1 and Quarter 2
