I/E. A CAR, NIGHT.
A car is racing down the freeway. A man is sleeping in the
passenger seat, passed out. The driver is on the phone with
his friend.

JOSH
Don't worry, I've got him! I went
back, and I got him! I got
Alexander Hamilton jack! Dude, He's
gonna fix all this shit going on in
Washington! Of course! He's going
to be awesome at rap! Hold on, hold
on, I'll call you back, he's
starting to wake up.
ALEXANDER HAMILTON
(Coming to) Whaa- What is
this?! Where the Devil am
I? What's going on!
JOSH
Hey, hey, Mr. Hamilton chill out,
chill out. You're in the future,
man. You're in a car right now,
it's cool. It's cool.
ALEXANDER HAMILTON
What? We're in the future? What are
all these things? I gotta get out
of here!

JOSH
No, No! They're just cars! You're
safe, no worries. You're here to
fix the future! Alexander, don't.
throw away. your shot. Look, it's
the year 2017 and we need your
help.
ALEXANDER HAMILTON
Two Thousand and Seventeen?

JOSH
Yes. Listen, things have gone
horribly to shit here in America.
We elected this douche that is
running our country into-
ALEXANDER HAMILTON

stereo. Look, here.
Josh turns up the stereo. Roses by Outkast is playing.
Alexander is looking around the car wildly. He has no idea
what's going on.
ALEXANDER HAMILTON
Where is that coming from?! Where
are these people? I hear them, are
they stuck in there?!
Alexander is leaning into one of the speakers on his car
door.

ALEXANDER HAMILTON (CONT’D)

Hello?!! HELLO!! Where are you!!
JOSH
Alexander stop it, stop it! Focus!
It's just music. It's just coming
from the CD player. Look, look.
Josh takes the CD out of the CD player and shows it to
Hamilton.
JOSH (CONT’D)
Look, the music is on here. It just
plays off of this...
Alexander is studying the CD.
JOSH (CONT’D)
So can you like drop some bars like
those guys?
ALEXANDER HAMILTON
What? What do you mean there's
music on there? How in God's name
can you put people in that?!
JOSH
There's no people! Just forget
about the CD Ok?!

Josh throws the CD in the backseat.

ALEXANDER HAMILTON
Don't hurt them!

We have to save the country! I'm
taking you to Washington. To The
Room Where It Happens right-
ALEXANDER HAMILTON
My GOD! Those things are on fire
behind us!
JOSH
What?! No, those are just
headlights. They're just little
lightbulbs on the front of cars.
ALEXANDER HAMILTON
What is a lightbulb?!
JOSH
Shit...Oh, they're just like these
bulbs that make light. With
electricity. They just make light!
ALEXANDER HAMILTON
What?! How is that possible!
JOSH
Hamilton! Our country! The United-

JOSH

that transports people around on
roads. It goes faster when you

ALEXANDER HAMILTON

JOSH
No! God! Pedal makes the gas-
Goddamnit.
Josh pulls out his phone and calls back his friend.

Hey! I don't think this going to
work. Yeah, it's just not-
ALEXANDER HAMILTON
Why are you talking to that piece
of metal.. Looney Man?!
JOSH
I'm going to have to take him back.
