The argumentation of the design is disagreement of typologycal approach. Typologycal approach lead to just form-making design that can not take even further, just follow the standard of the rules dan just sclupturing the design. Second disagrement is typologycal approach isn't relevant to current condition. It is becaure typologycal stereotypes is one function one program. But nowdays, function isnt predictable. People want to see it, and people so curious, and automaticly their {eyes glance at the construction process while they cross the road It smake the trafic more dangerous becose thelr focused is separated and cantt concentrated onthe driving. tcan make a street ancident, CCan architecture solve or maybe just hep to respond ths problem? Jobdesk: idea & Concept generator, visualization Research team: Gilang Fajar Kusumawardana, Linggar Surya Instructor: Defry Agatha & Endy Yudho Prasetyo (Ordes Arsitektur) Project year: 2017 We tried to study of visual perception. in conclusion, when the eyes see something, lets say Isyana’s photo. In our research from few people, wil automaticly perceived the complex things frst that can Identify the whole picture. In thiscase, whatlsthefirst things we see Iseyes, nose, and lips. Then after seeing this three things, we can see the whole picture And tistrue that eyes, nose and lips isthe things In our face that can identify who we are tis ikea main characteristic thatslikeanidentityofourface, Then wetried to study of visual perception wth the help ofour hand and pencil We try to make dots and lines picture what point we see firs, second, thd etc until we se the whole picture. tislike make a road map. And the result is that eyes, nose, and lips is have more pointsandline.ttmeansthatour visual perceptionis ike tolook what Is more complex things in a picture and then determine the whol. We can associate that the more complex the elemnt ina picture, we willseeitfistto perceived, So with that conclusion, we tried to take the theory tothe context. We selected few spot that has element that distracted people in our survey. Then we try to analysis with dot and lines method before. Our asumption about the complexity, and'more dots and lines"is fa element in some picture has more texture, more colorful, more depth of ight and shadow, {and moving objec is make the element ‘more complex and more dats & lines. The consequences itisathing that made we perceived at first and itis what made the distraction for the people who cross the toad, So in the conclusion, it is right that the Construction isthe main things that made visual disctraction to the people in the toad, The main reason is simple, because the construction element is very different from the enviroment and make it more atractthe visual perception ofoureyes. Early respond of the issue is like in left coloum, Make another disctraction, vanishing the construction object, and made it invisible with video mapping, But we think itis made new distraction, So we try to make research again and made conclusion tha ight and shadow can dlstrupt visual distraction. we try to make object spoted withlight the consequenceis, thecontrast is being high and the object is more complex. But if we hide that thing in shadow, the dots and lines"is hidden the object is more simple and less attraction. So our respond isto make a barter andalsoa shelter The BARRIER-SHELTER made theroad isbeing proctected and also madeshadow that made the construction process has les visual attraction, and inthe end of the research, we iterated the probability ofthe BARRIER-SHELTER form so itcan useinthedlfferent spot ‘The design of BARRIER-SHELTER is few metal sheets that can freely to make barrier, or shelter.
