To further help mitigate the spread, our campus nurses and district personnel continue going above and beyond to systemically report COVID-19 positive cases to the local health department and conduct contact tracing for reported cases of individuals on campus, and we will continue to offer rapid tests as an added screening resource for asymptomatic students and staff. Individuals who are sick, experiencing COVID- 19 symptoms, or are unvaccinated and have been identified as a close contact to someone who has tested positive should stay home and seek a COVID-19 test through their healthcare provider, city/county testing site, etc. We also maintain our commitment to providing COVID-19 vaccinations to individuals who wish to receive the vaccine as part of efforts to help Keep SISD Safe and mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We are proud to have made COVID-19 vaccines available to students, employees, and community members through the SISD Employee Health Clinic and through partnerships with Immunize El Paso and other community agencies.
