Itconsists of a Garbhagrha (the sanctum sanctorum) with a curved spire, a Jagamohana (the gathering hall) and Nrtya Mamdapa (the dancing hall) built on the same axis and a huge compound wall with three entrances. Significance: + This temple was built by Nagvanshi King Gopal Devin the 11” century CE. * This temple is built on a5 ft. high platform. The length of the Mamdapa is 60 ft. and the width is 40 ft. There are 4 pillars in the middle of the Mamdapa and 12 pillars towards the side. The upper part of the temple does not have a Sikhara. Khajuraho temple. Significance: This temple was built by Nag Bhatt Il in approx. 815 CE. The Sikhara of the temple is about 97 ft. high above the ground level. + The upper octagonal structure of the temple has been engraved by combining 8 stones in such an artistic way, that the temple seems to be like flower of lotus. Importance: + According to Rajasthan District Gazetteer of Jhalawar, this Sun Temple stands first in the list of important monuments protected by the Archaeological Survey of India March 2022........... The Garbhagrha of the temple is situated on a rockand the main idol whichis about 18{t tall can be seen through different doors. The head and chest can be seen from the first door while the hands can be seen from the second door and the feet through the third door.
