The bar chart shows data about the propotion of obesity male and female in

Australia over 30 years period between 1980 and 2010.


As can be seen from the chart, in all years, the obesity rate of man is much higher
than women. The percentage of overweight woman and man also increased over 30
years.
The percentage of men who were overweight in 1980 was 48% while women was
30%. In 1990, the proportion of obesity female was 40, about 10% lower than that
of male. In the 1980 and 1990, the proportion of overweight men was roughly
equal, while in women there was a 10% difference.
The percentage of obese men was 70% and women was 50% in 2000. In 2010, the
rate of men who were overweight was almost 70% while that of women was 50%.
In the years 2000 and 2010, the proportion of overheavy women was equal and at
exactly a half.
