Introduction
Intelligent Interfaces are human-machine
interfaces that aim to improve the
efficiency,effectiveness, and naturalness of
human-machine interaction by representing,
reasoning, and acting on models of the user,
domain, task, discourse, and media.
What are intelligent interfaces?
"A program is intelligent if it does something
that would require intelligence if a human
did it"
Any human-computer interface can predict
what users want to do and present information
based on this prediction. The key idea is that this
interface is more intuitive and helpful in a way
that presents information to users in an
appropriate context that is more adequate to
their needs.
What makes an interface “intelligent” ?
