Initial volume of water in Graduated 23.1 mL

cylinder

Final volume (after adding the 25.8 mL

metal)

Volume of Metal 2.7 mL

Density of Metal 8.869 g/mL

Look for the Density table for common metals and identify the metal sample used:

Nickel, Copper, Cobalt

Conclusion:

Based on the results, what can you conclude?

The experiment states about the different measurements using beaker, graduated cylinder

and burette. Another is, finding the density of water and metal. Specifically, Density of Water

(g/mL) where we are tasked to formulate and find the mass of water (g) in cylinder and plot

graph to suffice the problem. In conclusion, after the plotting of graph we observed that the mass

of water (g) and volume (mL) consistently aligns in the slope. Another conclusion is that the

measurements should always be right or else, everything would mess up in any way.
