So, we are done with the first mode of computing final grades.
Le’ts move on to the next mode…the cumulative grading system.
Explanation.
Thus, the cumulative grading system gets a certain
percentage from the previous grade and adds it to the tentative
present grade of a certain period. Ibig sabihin ang grade nang
studyante sa previous na quarter ay kinukuhanan ng 30% at
idinadagdag ito sa 70% ng grade na nakuha ng mag-aaral sa
present na quarter. Samakatuwid, ang grade ng bata sa present
na quarter ay apektado ng grade na nakuha sa previous na
quarter.

Ang final grade naman ng studyante sa bawat subject ay

base sa kung ano ang nakuha niya sa fourth quarter na galling din
sa 30% previous (Third Quarter) at 70% naman sa present
(Fourth Quarter).

So, take a look at the given table which shows the example
on how cumulative grading system is being computed. We have
there the subjects (mention from English to Makabayan), first,
second, third, fourth quarter and final grade. Ipapakita ko sainyo
kung paano nacompute ang grades sa English subject mula first
hanggang sa final grade gamit ang cumulative grading system.

Kung titingnan nio ang grade na nakuha ng studyante sa first

quarter ay 78 at sa second quarter naman ay 83 (ito yung
tinatawag ba tentative na grade). Tentative dahil hindi yan ang
magiging grade ng bata sa second quarter kundi yung 30% na
galing sa 78 (First quarter) at 70% naman na galing sa 83
(Second Quarter). Show the computation.
