UPDATE ON BORDER MEASURES FOR TRAVELLERS


WITH TRAVEL HISTORY TO INDONESIA

We refer to CAAS Circular 2021/42 dated 10 July 2021.

2 The Multi-Ministry Taskforce has been closely monitoring the global COVID-19
situation and will be adjusting border measures for travellers with travel history to
Indonesia. Please refer to the Ministry of Health’s press release in Annex A.

3 Currently, all travellers entering or transiting through Singapore with recent travel
history to Indonesia within the last 21 days 1 prior to departure for Singapore are not
allowed to transit or transfer through Singapore.

4 With effect from 22 September 2021, 2359 hours (Singapore time), all travellers
with travel history to Indonesia within the last 21 days1 prior to departure for Singapore
will be allowed to transit or transfer through Singapore, if they are travelling with an airline
whose transfer route has been approved. They will be subject to Category IV border
measures.

5 Existing Not-To-Land (NTL) policies and procedures will apply for passengers who
are denied entry into Singapore if they do not meet Singapore’s prevailing entry
requirements or who are not allowed to transfer/transit through Singapore.

6 Information on the additional requirement for all inbound and transit and transfer
passengers will be updated in the IATA Timatic service.

7 This Circular will, with effect from 22 September 2021, 2359 hours, supersede
CAAS Circular 2021/42, dated 10 July 2021, Update on Border Measures for Travellers
with Travel History to Indonesia.
